Famous DVD Easter Eggs

Just in time for Easter I have found a nice theme that resonates with Easter although it has not all that much to do with it – but allows you an “Easterly excuse” for spending the coming weekend in front of your telly:

Do you know what a virtual Easter egg is? Or that some DVD’s have hidden virtual Easter eggs? I have to admit, I did not use to, but now I do… Let me pass on my newly acquired knowledge to you dear reader:

A virtual Easter Egg consists of an intentionally hidden message or feature in either a movie, book, CD, DVD, computer program, or video game.

Juno (2007)

Film Review: Juno (2007)

Yesterday finally I visited my local cinema to see Juno, the much hyped about new film sensation. I have to say I did enjoy the film a lot although it is the way it is with hyped up films: You end up expecting so much that it leaves you a little disappointed if that is at all possible.

What it definately makes me feel like is that I want to find that shop where Juno buys her clothes!

Film Review: Cité des enfants perdus, La - The City of Lost Children (1995)

This film is a visual masterpiece with the costumes designed by Jean Paul Gaultier. The plot is very surreal and at times hard to follow but it suits this dark fairytale.

The oscars 2008 aftermath from my point of view

So the oscars are over... As you know I published a list of the winners for those of you looking on my website.

I really want to see Juno when it comes out on DVD as I did not make it into the cinema. I need to check what the release dates are for Juno. Did you hear that Diablo Cody wants to get a tattoo of the face of the film's star Ellen Page on her arm? Funny how everyone is suddenly bringing up that Diablo Cody used to be a stripper!
