Russell Brand hosted the VMA’s last week for MTV - the VMA’s are the music video awards, now I’m unsure if the route that Russell Brand went down well in terms of a great performance with the American public. I know his views are little crazy and the way he is seen in the UK is accepted as this but even still he can be seen as pretty wacky, I think to help himself out, it would have been a better idea to avoid the US political mine field. Maybe a comparison to the UK and US and make fun out of the UK, this would have been a safer bet!

Either way I’m not sure his I think his Video Music Awards appearance was a good one, I mean i’m a Russell Brand fan, think the guy is great, but I think on such a global scale he should have played it a bit safer.

Listening to his podcast on BBC radio two last week, he seemed reasonably pleased but bothered about the fact he made fun out of the Jonas Brothers, he made a valid point in his argument, either way I’m sure he’ll bounce back, but that’s the trouble with political comedy, you’re always going to strike a raw nerve with someone.
