The Heartbreak Kid
Single and indecisive, Eddie begins dating the incredibly sexy and seemingly fabulous Lila. Upon the urging of his father and best friend , Eddie proposes to her after only a week, fearing this may be his last chance at love, marriage, and happiness. However, while on their honeymoon in sunny Mexico, Lila reveals her true beyond-awful nature and Eddie meets Miranda , the woman he realizes to be his actual soul mate. Eddie must keep his new, increasingly horrid wife at bay as he attempts to woo the girl of his dreams. a viewer’s review: With Ben Stiller and that cool woman from Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. It’s a typical Sunday afternoon American Fun film you don’t need a lot of brain for and you have a couple of good laughs. Nothing you haven’t seen before but still entertaining because the actors are not afraid of making a fool of themselves and above all half of the film plays in this really beautiful place in Mexico and you just can see yourself on holiday there. So it’s a light little movie, a lot of fun with likeable people and a nice passing the time when you got nothing better to do. If you want a film that sticks with you and moves you emotionally it might be a waste of money (Sorry Mr. Stiller, I didn’t want to say that J )
